Boulart
Boulart makes bread for other businesses, so this site is all about helping buyers find what they need. The home page opens with "A cut above", then lets visitors choose their market (food service, home meal replacement or retail) and see the breads that suit it.
Along the way, the site highlights new products like the individually wrapped Flow Pack range, shows off Boulart's certifications in a "Bread with nothing to hide" section, and features a brand video about how the bread is made. A sales representative is always one click away. There's also news, the team, job openings, an FAQ and a client login, all in English and French.
At the time, WordPress didn't have its block editor (Gutenberg) yet. We wanted Boulart's team to be able to build and update pages on their own, so we created a set of reusable block components they could stack in any order. It all runs on a custom theme, with custom post types to keep the content organised.
I designed it in Illustrator and Photoshop while at M&H.
